Process@

PID Eng&Tech is a leading supplier of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) solutions for laboratory reactors and pilot plants. Our systems have proved their effectiveness through 16 years of a worldwide operation. Our systems include the Process@ software for supervisory control and data acquisition making use of the Ethernet remote control.

By using the menu, based on the Process@® application, the operator is able to set all the devices configuration parameters: alarm values, calibration parameters settings, etc... All these values can be remote set/changed from the host computer; and in the same way the host computer can read process parameters in "real time". Process@® can also save sessions that are used in order to automate the processes. The main innovation of Process@® application is its ability to manage different manufacturer protocols, even if these protocols use different communication speed, message bits number, parity, etc.

The Process@® application is only available associated with automated control systems, pilot plants or laboratory reactors developed by PID Eng&Tech.

The Process@® application is a highly scalable SCADA platform that features a distributed architecture to be used in a network configuration of host computer and field devices. Process@® runs on compatible PC under the Windows XP operating system and adheres to the Open Systems Foundation definition of an open system.

Process@® application has been developed for systems based on RS-485 digital communication between process devices (controllers, inverters, valves, HPLC pumps, PLC's, data acquisition sets, etc) and the embedded process control system. The devices will be in control of the process and Process@® application will only perform a supervision of process control and data acquisition. The communication between the Process@® and the process control system is possible due to the Ethernet TCP/IP. This system allows various users to control one reactor (via the Ethernet), o rather the control of various reactors by the only one user. The set of commands transmitted through the communication network is transparent to user. He need only modify the values of each parameter into a dialogue box and Process@® application will do the rest.

Process@® is ideal for small/middle-scale pilot plants, or in small SCADA applications for laboratory reactors.
